  • Islanders Well Represented in McGill Win Over UMass Lowell
    McGill University Co-captain Connor Goodwin (Port Coquitlam Saints) of New Westminster, BC, scored twice, including the game-winner at 1:40 of sudden-death overtime to give McGill a 7-6 come-from-behind win over the University of Massachusetts-Lowell River Hawks in an exhibition game, Sunday. It was McGill's first-ever victory over an NCAA DI program. Goodwin, a senior majoring in electrical engineering, also recorded an assist before scoring the winning goal.
