Minto Cup finals preview

After the Semi-Finals on Tuesday, the Minto Cup tournament took a day off to give the Orangeville Northmen and the Coquitlam Adanacs a night for deliberation, rest and reclamation.

Come Thursday, it is the Clash of the Champions.The elder statesmen Coquitlam Adanacs have been to the Minto Cup Finals five of the last six years including a Minto Cup win in 2010. They face off against the reigning 2016 Ontario League Champions.

Coquitlam’s offense has been led by Joel Hofseth, Tyler Pace and Nicholas McNabb. While Orangeville counters with Joel Tinney, Dallas Bridle, Matt Gilray and Adam Charalambides.

The Minto Cup Final will be a best of five series beginning Thursday night at 8:00pm with all games being live streamed by Ten Feet Sports and Entertainment.

Game 1: Thursday August 25, 8:00pm.

Game 2: Friday, August 26, 8:00pm

Game 3: Saturday, August 27, 8:00pm

Game 4: Sunday, August 28, 8:00pm ***If Necessary

Game 5: Monday, August 29, 8:00pm ***If Necessary

(All games will be played inside the Langley Events Centre)

Coquitlam defeated Orangeville in the opening game of the 2016 Minto Cup 8-7.
