Al Boles Memorial Trophy – Most Inspirational

This player must have the ability and leadership and above all, be an inspiration to his fellow teammates and management staff on and off the floor

Keith McEachren Trophy – Most Sportsmanlike Player

This player is judged for his ability and sense of fair and clean play.

The Bob Reid Memorial Award – Outstanding Achievement

This award must go to the individual who has contributed the most to his team by his outstanding achievement on the floor during the season (i.e., setting records, in assists, in goals or goalie records)

Winner is Ryan Martel Langley Junior Thunder


John Urban Award – Graduating Player

 This player should have combined ability, sportsmanship and be an all around contributor to the continued growth of his club. His contribution to the league and minor lacrosse should be taken into consideration.

The Reginald “Pop” Phillips Memorial Award – Best Defensive Player

This player will be judged on his defensive skills. This player must have ability and show good sportsmanship

Doug Hazelwood Memorial Trophy – Coach of the Year

This Coach must have the ability to instil good sportsmanship and have ability to bring out talent and fair play.

Winner is Dave Bremner Nanaimo Junior Timbermen


Monty Leahy - Top Goalie

Goaltender must have played in more than 48% of the games and played a minimum of 600 minutes Award based on GAA

Bill Dickinson Award- Scoring Champion

Winner is Will Malcom New West Junior Salmonbellies (106 points in 21 games PPGA – 5.0)


Marcolis Gilson Award- Rookie of the Year

This should be a player who is in their first year in the league with a maximum of 12 games played per year in prior years. If a player has played Junior A in other provinces he will not be eligible for this award.

Executive of the Year Award – Harry Ferguson Memorial Award

Victoria Junior Shamrocks – Ron Hampton, Rod Wood, Lorne McInerney, Wade Murray


Henry “Del” Delmonico Trophy – Most Valuable Player

This is the player judged to be the most valuable to his team in gaining the position for playoffs, etc. This player should also be a credit to the league, joining ability with good sportsmanship
