The Minto returns to British Columbia in 2024 and two bids were up to be the host of the most prestigious championship in Canadian lacrosse. On Thursday night the Governors of the BCJALL met to determine where the league would ultimately host the event as it returns to BC for the first time since 2019.

Ultimately it was one of BC's most traditional and strongest lacrosse communities that won out as Coquitlam was named the 2024 host. The Adanacs will welcome the Ontario Champion, Rocky Mountain League Champion and next best BC team into the 'Palace on Poirier' from Aug 17-24.

Coquitlam last hosted in 2010 when they were lead by Mark Matthews and defeated the Orangeville Northmen in the finals to be crowned champions.

The Adanacs ended the 2023 regular season on top of the BCJALL as they look to make their way to Edmonton for this year's tournament. For more information on the tournament keep an eye on Minto Cup.ca as the dates draw nearer.
