JUSTIN GEDDIE - NANAIMO TIMBERMEN

One of the biggest revelations coming out of this season was the play of the Nanaimo goaltending. The Timbermen quickly found that they had one of the most competitive goalie duos in the league in Justin Geddie and Colin Jeffrey. Playing behind a strong and confident D-core, the two goaltenders routinely came up with big saves that allowed Nanaimo to burst of the gates with a strong record.

While they played strong as a tandem, it was Geddie that really shone in games against teams ahead of Nanaimo in the standings. He was instrumental in two big regular season wins over Coquitlam and had some of the best stats of qualified goaltenders in the BCJALL. Geddie was second among regular starters in Save Percentage (.817), Goals Against Average (8.71 GAA), and tied for the league lead in wins alongside Victoria's Cam Dunkerley with 12. Another underrated aspect of Geddie's game was his ability to kickstart the transition. Only Langley's Torin Van Rheenan had more assists to Geddie's 7 with 9.

Geddie is another high draft pick that Nanaimo is already getting maximum value on. He was taken No. 24 in the 2018 Midget Draft, and the Timbermen have to be thrilled at how quickly he was able to adjust to the quality of the league. Look for Geddie to be dominating the cage for the next few years in Nanaimo.
