NATE FACCIN - COQUITLAM ADANACS

There were a few unanswered questions facing the Coquitlam Adanacs heading into the 2019 BCJALL season: can the team make up for the amount of experience and depth lost from last year's Minto Cup winning team, and can Nate Faccin fill the void left behind by Christian Del Bianco?

Well, the Adanacs quickly answered both of those questions, again leading the charge at the top of the standings for a majority of the year, much of it thanks to Faccin's performance between the pipes. Coquitlam had reason to be quietly excited about Faccin, who fills much of the net and has the athleticism and skills to routinely stop high-quality scoring chances.

Faccin led the league (among regular starters) in major categories like SV% (.849) and GAA (7.16) while finishing second in wins with 11. He capped off his season with stellar playoff run, finishing with a .837 SV% and 6.46 GAA along with 6 wins. His play, along with the steady goaltending of backup Cam McLeod, also meant he wasn't overly taxed, playing just over 1200 minutes in 28 games.

Faccin also has some Minto experience over the last two seasons, which should bode well for the Adanacs heading into next week.
