AL BOLES MEMORIAL TROPHY

MOST INSPIRATIONAL

ETHAN TICEHURST - COQUITLAM ADANACS

There have been a lot of unsung heroes for the Coquitlam Adanacs over the last few seasons, and one of the main ones has been Ethan Ticehurst. Dynamite in the transition game and tough to beat on the defensive side of the ball, Ticehurst has also scored some big goals in his Coquitlam career.

For a guy like Ticehurst, it isn't all about putting points on the board. He does a lot of things that aren't noticed by the casual lacrosse fan. He's gritty as it gets on loose balls and has bought into Coach Pat Coyle's system seamlessly for the last few seasons. Points-wise, he had a career season, showing the ability to improve year over year.

Ticehurst's leadership abilities don't just end on the floor - he is also a trusted player at Saint Leo University in NCAA Field Lacrosse. He scooped up 55 ground balls last season, good for second on the team, while also leading the club with 29 created turnovers. Those are just two other ways he leads by example and is a rightful winner of the Al Boles Memorial Trophy.
