Five BCJALL players held to lead Canada to gold at U20 field worlds in Jeju, South Korea

Five BC Junior A Lacrosse League players, including tournament MVP and All-World Team goalkeeper Grayson Manning (Victoria Shamrocks) and All-World Team attacker Jared Maznik (Nanaimo Timbermen/Delta Islanders), helped Canada to the U-20 world field lacrosse championship in a thrilling 6-5 win over the U.S. on Aug. 24 in Jeju, South Korea.

In addition to Manning, who allowed just one goal in the first three quarters, and Maznik, Parker Sorenson (New Westminster Salmonbellies), Greyson Thompson (Victoria Shamrocks) and Jack Olson (Coquitlam Adanacs) represented their country.

Congratulations to the players and the team for winning its first ever U-20 world men's title.
