Mission Hosts Jr. A Exhibition Game

Junior A lacrosse is coming back to Mission for a second season in a row.

A year after taking on the New Westminster Salmonbellies, the Port Coquitlam Saints will be back, this time battling the Burnaby Lakers. The game will be hosted at the Mission Leisure Centre's North Arena, with ball drop set for 5:00 p.m tonight (Saturday, April 14).

Admission is by donation with all money raised going to the GoFundMe for the victims of the Humboldt bus crash and their families. Fans will also be invited to join the two teams on the floor to pay tribute to them and for a moment of silence. They're also being encouraged to wear lacrosse jerseys - or anything with the Humboldt Broncos' green and gold colours.
