Shamrocks Acquire Goaltender Atherton

Commissioner Al Lang of the British Columbia Junior A Lacrosse League has confirmed a trade between the Victoria Shamrocks and the Nanaimo Timbermen.

Victoria is very pleased to have acquired the playing rights of Goaltender Brandon Atherton.

Brandon is in his final season of eligibility and is considered by many as a premier starter in the BCJALL.

Brandon has spent the last two season’s playing for Nanaimo and despite his team’s short falls on offense and defense, Brandon continued to be a solid standout on his team.

Last season Brandon’s play earned him many league awards including, Outstanding Achievement, Most Inspirational, 2nd team All-star and Most Game Star Points.

In return Victoria sends the playing rights of Brent Curry, Kevin Lohr and Tim Evoy to Nanaimo.
