Week 2 of the BCJALL Regular Season Puts the Adanacs on Top
Week 2 of the 2026 BCJALL regular season brought another exciting weekend of action across the league, with several teams continuing strong starts while others searched for their first win of the season. Big offensive performances, close contests, and statement victories highlighted the second weekend of play as the Coquitlam Adanacs sit atop the standings heading into Week 3.
The week opened with the New Westminster Salmonbellies defeating the Delta Islanders 9-5. The Langley Thunder also remained unbeaten after edging the Burnaby Lakers 8-7 in one of the closest games of the week, then defeating Nanaimo 9-5. Langley now sits at 3-0 alongside Coquitlam at the top of the standings.
The Victoria Shamrocks split week 2, earning a 12-6 win over Nanaimo before The defending Minto Cup champs went to the island to give them their first loss of the year. The Coquitlam Adanacs continued to show why they remain one of the league’s top teams after defeating the Shamrocks and the Port Coquitlam Saints 7-3 to improve to 3-0 on the season.
Port Coquitlam closed out the weekend with a dominant 12-1 win over Nanaimo.
Several players have already begun making an impact early in the season. Poco’s Elijah Terry sits on top of points, with 16, followed by teammate Josh Mills, and Delta’s Jared Maznik who both tally 14.
